Let us control environmental risks today to protect the resources of tomorrow

By Philippe Maillard, CEO of the Apave Group

With the test of the crisis that the world has just passed through and the major challenges that await us, the demands and expectations in environmental matters are becoming increasingly strong. At Apave, we have the know-how and skills that allow us to support our customers on this path. Confidence and Growth will, I am convinced, henceforth be closely linked to the management of environmental risk.

I would like to start this article by sharing two figures: 32% of French executives say they take climate risk into account in their risk management strategy (up 6 points compared to 2019) when 46% of them indicate that one of their priorities is given to measuring the environmental impact of their activity *.

In recent years, the environmental issue has taken on capital importance in the risk management policies of all economic players, who are today fully aware of the role they can – and even must – play in terms of preservation of the environment. And we have all observed it: in the face of the crisis that the world has just passed through and the major challenges that await us, the demands and expectations in terms of the environment are getting stronger and stronger. At Apave, we have the know-how and skills that allow us to support our customers on this path. Confidence and Growth will, I am convinced, henceforth be closely linked to the management of environmental risk.

For companies, it is now essential to deploy an effective and ambitious policy to control the environmental impacts of their activities and to let their employees, customers, service providers, partners and prospects know it.
